Mr.Shahariar Sadat is a Legal educationist and a lawyer by profession. He joined London College of Legal Studies (South) in June 2006 as Head of Student Services and member of faculty. In 2008 he became one of the Partners and Course Coordinator of London College of Legal Studies (South), the only Affiliate Centre of University of London International Programmes in Bangladesh. As the Course Coordinator of LCLS (South), Mr.Shahariar played the key role for the overall academic activities, welfare and mentoring of students. By the end of 2015 he relinquished his management role at the college.
He used to play his role as a senior academic at the college where he taught Law to A-levels students, Legal System and Methods and Public Law to Diploma in Law and LL.B (Hons) first year students of University of London International Programmes and English Legal System and Constitutional and Administrative Law to students of BPP University. Mr.Shahariar Sadat was also an Adjunct Faculty of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) until December 2015 where he taught business law at both under-graduate and post-graduate level covering various aspects of Law of Contract, Law of Agency, International trade law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
He is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and an accredited mediator and master trainer on mediation. He is currently working as in country mediator of CAO, an independent body with the World Bank Group. He is also a panel mediator of Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre. From March 2016 to February 2017 Mr.Shahariar worked as the Academic Coordinator and Research manager of South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies (SAILS). From March 2017 he has taken up the role of Academic Coordinator at the Centre for peace and Justice, BRAC University.
As an ex-cadet of Barisal Cadet College he completed both his S.S.C and H.S.C with distinction. Primarily he graduated in Economics from University of Dhaka and successfully achieved Bachelor of Social Science and Master in Social Science in Economics from University of Dhaka. Afterwards he graduated in Law from University of London.
